“The CollectiV” is an entertainment offering that goes much further than just the average cover band. Comprised of multi-talented members of the South African music, television and radio industries, and with over 30 years experience, they are set to entertain the most discerning audience with a variety of festive and “American Song Book” swing.
Slide guitar, harmonica, African blues guitar stylings and soul vocals all feature in the fresh sound of Robin Auld. Familiar to South Africans from his hits All of Woman, Baby you've been good, Perfect Day and many others.
The show features songs by the legends you know and love from the 1950s, ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s, such as Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Cliff Richard, the Platters, Cher and Creedence Clearwater Revival, as well as the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Roy Orbison, ABBA and Queen. The show is a mini-theatrical experience, featuring the dynamic vocal and visual performances of James and Monique, alternating as a duo and individual performers, who also do multiple costume changes throughout.
Matthew Mole, the talented South African singer-songwriter, will take the stage live at Moss and Maple. With his soulful voice, acoustic melodies, and heartfelt lyrics, Matthew will mesmerize the audience with his unique blend of folk, rock and pop
